Job Description
Must love working with Preschool children,
Must be out going and fun and well organized and able to control a classroom,
Able to stand and squat, walk and be active the majority of the day,
Must be at least 18 years of age Must have Highschool diploma or GED,
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms,
Communication and instructional skills Ability to act as mediator between children,
Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable,
Certification in child CPR(willing to obtain),
CDA a plus (willing to obtain CDA)
Must be willing to work as a team player
Responsibilities Develop creative activities for preschool children,
Employ a variety of techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children,
Encourage children to interact with each other and help resolve occasional arguments.
Organize nap and snack times and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times,
Track and communicate with parents regularly, Collaborate with other team members,
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
