All candidates must have experience working in a licensed Childcare as either a teacher or as a director or assistant director. We do not accept babysitting as a classroom experience. If your resume does not clearly show your experience in a childcare facility please do not apply for this position. No phone calls, please. Assistant Director must: Must be 21 years old or older Previous childcare work experience required. Be able and willing to drive a 15 passenger van for school pick-up and field trips. Demonstrates an understanding of all current state and local regulations. Familiar with TDPRS Minimum Standards, concepts, practices procedures. Ability to create lesson plans. Ability to lift, carry, and/or move up to 40 lbs. Ability to stoop, bend, etc. to interact on a child’s level throughout the day. Ability to interact and participate with children during physical activities ex: running, jumping, dancing, demonstrating exercises, motor skills, etc. Ability to stand for long periods of time during the workday.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility of changing job duties as needed.
